I radiate warmth.

My energy rushes toward the void

And I feel always feel so cold.

Then I hug myself,

Suddenly I have all I need.

Making decisions that I can bear with pride.

Powerful & creative imagery

the food and education made me sad.

I have always been fascinated by these ‘world of 100 people’ things, I remember spending hours thinking through the ones on a poster at church when I was 9 or so. It really, really makes some really important stuff so blindingly clear, in numbers we can understand. And it should, I hope it does, inspire us to act.

Amazing post.

i hope im one of the 7 people with a computer

Wow. I’m a really privileged individual. This really motivates me to make the most of my privilege and use it to bring others to a better place of authenticity and opportunity.

I want to develop healthier habits before I graduate. And I want to start today. I always want to start today.

I kind of like essays because they’re an acceptable way of saying, “This is how I think, and if you don’t think the same way I do, then here’s why I’m right and you’re wrong.”

I’m glad I switched my major. I’m actually looking forward to studying now. :)

I’ll try being brave more often.

Another date with Mr. Woolard

I was out with Ana last night to have dinner with Mr. Woolard and his husband, Dr. Mark, and we both learned a lot.

While it’s smart to be - well, smart - I’m not going to be 20 forever, and these are the years where I have a lot of room to be stupid and live like there’s no tomorrow.

I think I’ve just been yearning for freedom so much that I’ve been seeing more and more signs to reach out for it.
